The only rum producer in the Central American country, Licorera Cihuatán controls their entire production line from sugarcane seeds to fermenting, distilling, ageing and blending. Master Blender Gabriela Ayala marries distillates from molasses and sugarcane syrup for a fruity, delicious and welcoming rum.


Our story

El Salvadoran rums are known for their diverse flavor profiles, punctuated with notes of tropical fruits, citrus, honey, vanilla, and oak. The agricole-style, sugarcane syrup base provides a distinctive grassy and earthy undertone.
