The Tropical Pacific Terroir

Located on the island of Viti Levu is the township of Lautoka where the Rum Co. of Fiji was founded in 1980. This is Fiji’s only rum distillery and they distil using sugarcane molasses that are all from Fijian sugarcane. This has grown in the volcanic soil giving a rich and meaty style rum. 95% of the cane is cut by hand as it grows in the mountainous environment.
