Planteray 5-Year-Old Barbados Rum is praised for its balanced flavors from its double ageing process, first on the shores of Barbados and then in France. This smooth rum offers notes of tropical fruits, vanilla, and caramel. Enjoy it neat or in a cocktail.

Five Years

Planteray Rum Barbados 5 years blends both pot and column still rums in the authentic Barbadian style from our own Stade’s West Indies Rum Distillery, founded in 1893 by George Stade, a genius distiller with many patents under his name. After ageing for 3 years next to the beach, the Barbados casks travel by sea to France, experiencing “dynamic ageing” along the way. A second maturation in ex-Ferrand casks – the signature Planteray double-ageing technique – for a total of 5 years of ageing adds remarkable roundness and structure.
