Like the previous barrel swap of 2020 with the Jamaica 1996, the barrel used formerly contained Ragtime rye American straight whiskey which was done using a mashbill of 72% rye, 16% corn and 12% malted barley, then matured for at least three years.

Nose

Fruit and spice forward on red apple, rye and varnish, with honeyed notes of almond, sesame, hazelnut, almost nougat.

Palate

Rich, it follows the nose with a fruitier profile with dried fig, orange, fudge and roasted almond.
